There's a shortened schedule because of the PEAK meeting, and I want to make sure that we have enough time for our seminars. So, no starter today! Socratic Seminar Seminar: We sit in a circle, you have your book with you, and I channel Socrates and pose questions as we push to a deeper understanding of the text through our inquiry-based discussion and dialogue. This is not a debate--there is no "winning" in Seminar. We will be split into 2 groups, as usual. Seminar Reflection: your two page, double-spaced seminar reflection will be due on Friday at the end of class. I will provide the necessary handout and assessment guide next class period.
