[email protected] I'm a teacher, musician, filmmaker, and educational-designer who lives in Durango, CO and I want to make the world better. I hold a BA in English Literature and Language with an emphasis in linguistic studies from Texas Tech University. As a post-baccalaureate student at Fort Lewis, I earned a Colorado Secondary English Education teaching license. During this time, I earned the Linda K. Simmons Student Student-Teacher Award under the supervision of Founding Animas High School Teacher, Lori Fisher. I am a proud member of the Colorado Education Initiative's SpaceLab Design Network. Alongside Education and Design, I am deeply interested in music and perform with Six Dollar String Band, "a musical group that researches, interprets and disseminates old time music with fiddle, banjo, and guitar." I also hold a monthly residency as a Soul, Disco, and House DJ in Durango. When I'm not playing music, I'm working as a filmmaker with a special interest in location sound and sound design. My first film will be released in the Summer of 2019. |
