This is due Friday by the end of the day. WHY ARE WE DOING THIS TODAY? Since we are taking a field trip to the library tomorrow, I want us to be thinking very critically about three questions: 1) Who is the professional librarian who we will be having a discussion with? 2) How is the Durango Public Library attempting to evolve and thrive in our community? and 3) From a big picture perspective, are libraries becoming obsolete in our society? The secret ingredient that makes some teams better than others TASK: 20% Project TED TALKWe want these to be the best quality speech you've given in school thus far. Aggghhhh!! Second, take a look at this text example of a TED Talk speech. This talk is not out of this world awesome, nor is it awful. It's a good example of what the middle of the road looks like (think C+, B-, B) It's casual, yet polished; story-based, yet not rambling--it's engaging. Third, watch this example of a 20 Time Ted Talk with "The Structured TED Talk" handout above in your hand. |
