1) What would start World War 3? -Who would have to be assassinated? Would an assassination even be a cause? Why or why not? -What countries would likely be involved? Why? What would their different motivations be for going to war? -What would warfare look like? (weapons, victims, speed) -What people would be affected? How would this differ for different places? Why? Project Introduction: Creative Historians! -Read the project handout (<---click the link. I often use these on my DP.) -Write down 2-3 questions you have about this project. -Debrief/ask questions with Stephen. Multiple Intelligence Survey -Available in class only. Fill out the questions and turn in to Stephen. All Quiet on the Western Front Introduction and Reading Time -Sign out a book from Stephen, and get post-its if you don't have them. -Review annotating strategies. -Read and annotate for the rest of class. You must be done with chapters 1 and 2 by Monday start of class. 8-10 annotations per chapter. Homework: Class Supplies-- Buy all supplies listed in the syllabus. Make SURE you have them with you at the start of class on Monday. AQotWF: Read and annotate Chapters 1 and 2. 8-10 annotations per chapter.
