1) Share out Design Process results from yesterday. 2) Annotate Seminar test and start Seminar Pre-Write (finish for HW.) Share Design Results Your group and you will walk us through the successes and failures of your design challenge yesterday! Socratic Seminar Text Read and annotate THOROUGHLY. Define words you do not know. Vocab quiz? Group Grades Are Pointless Seminar Pre-Write This is due tomorrow. It must be properly formatted and printed out before the start of class. I will use this rubric to assess your writing. You should use the rubric to go through your writing before turning it in. Remember the time you graded yourself using this rubric? Let's see your improvement since then! In 2 well developed TEA paragraphs, please answer any two of the following questions: 1) What is the controversy about group grading and why is it important to discuss? 2) What is the most important function of a grade according to Kagan? What is the function of grading in your opinion? How do these views compare/contrast? 3) Is there value in educators grading the collaboration process (listening, sharing, making fair decisions, cooperating, etc.)? Seminar will take place immediately at the start of class tomorrow. In order to participate (and not get a costly ZERO) you will need: 1) Thoroughly Annotated (3-5 per page) Reading 2) Printed Out Copy of Pre-Write Homework: Prepare for Seminar
