1) Germany and the Next War Text and Germany and the Next War Instructions -Read a short article written by a German general before WWI, and connect it to the idea of militarism, and AQotWF. -See handout for further instructions. OR 2) Militarism: Images, Stats, Quotes and Militarism Images, Stats, Quotes, Instructions -Analyze 3-4 images, statistics, and quotes from WWI surrounding the issue of militarism. -See handout for further instructions. Just pick one option. That's to say, pick #1 or #2 ONLY. You do not need to do both. AQotWF Character Analysis (due Thursday) 1) Option 1: Character Portrait -Each member of your small group needs to choose a different character from AQotWF. Each of you will complete a character portrait that includes: 1) A drawing of the character on a piece of printer paper. 2) The character's name (make it obvious!!) 3) 6-8 annotations that point to particular aspects of your characters physical, behavioral, and psychological makeup. 4) 1-2 crucial quotes about your character or an event that involves them. AQotWF Reading and Annotating Read and annotate through Chapter 4 of AQotWF.
