Turning in QuarintuneToday's Office Hours Link 10am-11:30am Hey everyone! In the spirit of community, I'd like you to share your Quarintune Google Doc link in the comments section of the blog. Then, I'd like to make sure that we all comment on as many of our classmates work as possible. It'll be fun, I hope! Plan to leave 3 comments and try to spread them out! Let's get ready for some online project work this next week, and thanks for tapping into your creative writing skills this week for our soft entry into what's our new new normal through at least the end of April. Oh, and check out this article about Zoom. I wonder if we should use it anymore or not...let me know if you or your family have thoughts about it. All the best, S

Very sorry to hear that your phone broke Harper, but just know we're all still here. I also found it amusing that your song was a single sentence over and over, and mine is somewhat similar. Yet, despite lack of lyrics, songs always have a deeper meaning, and I can tell that you have found that deeper meaning and connection. Well done!

Very well written! It's all about the little things, isn't it? The fact that the song is French, and you're learning French, I would've never made that connection, had you not stated it. The calm before the storm is also highly relevant. While it may not be a visible, screaming storm, it's a deadly one, and one we must keep away from. Staying active can be hard, but as long as you have a motivational song such as this one, we can all accomplish great things during these times. Bravo!

I really am impressed you were able to write so much from a song that has little words. I think it really shows people will and can interpret things in many ways. Though the song may not have many words, it has the right tone and uses the right words to inspire people. Yourself as a good example, to write think and feel different ways.

I really love the song to start! I think you made a lot of good points like pondering if Donald trump was thinking the same things and having the same mindset of "I can do that better" as lots of teens are today. I also like the fact that your writing is easy to relate to.

I love your interpretation of this song! I also think it's very interesting that you decided to tell the story of how this got so bad, instead of just describing the end result like most of us did. I admire your creativity ;-)

I really like the way you took a different approach to this project, you made it more of a personification of the coronavirus than your personal thoughts and feeling.

i really like how you related the one verse to people not believing the virus was real, and eventually running out of supplies, that clever.

I don’t really listen to music with lyrics as much as I listen to piano. Ravel is one of my favorite composers, but this is my all-time favorite piano song. Whenever I heard this piece it makes me feel like I’m somewhere in northern Italy ;) It wipes my worries away from whatever's happening in the world.
